Photos: Pima County Fair returns with carnival rides, bands & of course deep-fried food

The Pima County Fair opened its 2024 run on Thursday and continues through Sunday, April 28.

The fair opens at 3 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. General admission is $12, with discounts for military and seniors 55+ ($8) and kids 6-10 ($6). Kids 5 and under get in free. Parking is $8.

There are a variety of discounts available, including free admission on Sunday mornings before noon with two cans of food for the Community Food Bank.

On Wednesday and Thursday, April 24-25, fairgoers can purchase wristbands for free carnival rides.

Admission is just $6 on Monday, April 22, and those 55 and older can enjoy free ferris wheel rides.

On Tuesday, April 23, carnival rides are $3 until 6 p.m.

General admission includes a variety of concerts. VIP tickets to the shows may be available.
