While Tucson’s annual Pride Festival is scheduled for September, the community will mark Pride Month with a number of events throughout June, kicking off with the Queer Bazaar this Saturday.
Queer Bazaar
- Where: Tucson Hop Shop, 3230 N. Dodge Blvd.
- When: Saturday, June 1 at 5-9 p.m.
Treat yourself to a local shopping spree at the Queer Bazaar. It will be at Tucson Hop Shop, 3230 N. Dodge Blvd., and will start at 5 p.m.
Queens of the Desert
- Where: Temple of Music and Art, 330 S. Scott Ave.
- When: Saturday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 2 at 2 p.m.
Reveille Men’s Chorus featuring special guest Crystal Stark will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” in their musical show “Queens of the Desert.” General admission tickets are $30 at the door. For young adults ages 13 to 24, tickets at the door are $20 and youth 12 and under get in free.
Bisbee Pride

The Bisbee Pride event – themed “20 Years of Celebrating Diversity” – runs for three days in historic Bisbee, Ariz..
On Friday, June 14 at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be Drag Story Hour at the Copper Queen Public Library. From noon to 6 p.m., the Pride Village will be in full swing in Grassy Park. There will be vendors, a beer garden, merch, food for sale and more. The Womyn’s Reception will be in the Courtyard, 18 Brewery Ave., where there will be live entertainment and music. The Lingerie Pub Crawl will be at 7 p.m. and it will start at the Iron Man statue and will weave through town until it arrives at the Historic Brewery Gulch. The “Saved” movie screening will also be at 7 p.m. at the Shady Deli, 1 Old Douglas Rd. Entry for the movie screening is $20. From 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., the street dance will take place at the Convention Center, 2 Main St. The ticket for the street dance is $20.
The Pride Parade will be on Saturday, June 15 at 10 a.m. The route starts at the Historic Cochise County Courthouse, winds through Main Street and ends at Goar Park. The full schedule of events can be found on the Bisbee Pride website.
JPride Game Night
- When: Thursday, June 6 at 6:30 p.m.
- Where: Tucson Games and Gadgets, in the Tucson Mall, 4500 N. Oracle Rd.
JPride Game Night is an event hosted by Tucson JCC where LGBTQ+ Jews and allies can get together and play games in a welcoming environment.
RuPaul Drag Race’s India Ferrah and America Revue Show
- When: Saturday, June 15 at 9 p.m.
- Where: IBT’s Bar + Food, 616 N. 4th Ave.
The drag show will feature RuPaul Drag Race’s India Ferrah from Season 3 and All Stars 5, Miss Gay Arizona Franzia McKenzie and Mr. Gay America Geo Johnson. Tickets include cover and a reserved show seat for $15.
Club Pride
- When: Saturday, June 8 at 9 p.m.
- Where: Hotel Congress Plaza, 311 E. Congress St.
Club Pride — a dance party and pride celebration at Hotel Congress — will feature music played by DJ Xochique, performances by Isis D. Frost, Tucson Vogue, Lola Torch and Kriis DiKay and will be hosted by Chatty Kathee and Swish Manley. Plus, there will be dancing by the Club Pride Go-Go Squad. Advance tickets online at $15 while they’ll be $20 on the day of the show. Only 21+ allowed.
